Terms and Conditions

Contract

1. This terms and conditions of business constitute a contract of agreement between SLM Organisation Consultant and the client and by engaging cleaning service by SLM the client is agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.

Service

1. SLM Organisation Consultant agrees to obtain from cleaners proof of address, identity, and all relevant vetting documentations before engaging employment with them.

2. In the event of the regular cleaner’s inability to clean, due to sickness or other reasons, SLM Organisation Consultant will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement cleaner.

Fees for domestic customers

1. Clients agree to pay the regular cleaning rate as agreed upon on the designated day or via Emailed invoice within 7 days of service date. Late payments may incur a late fee unless an agreement has been made.

2. Cleaners will only undertake work for hours arranged in advance unless otherwise instructed by SLM.

3. Any change in fee rate will be notified to the client giving a minimum of 14 days notice.

Cancellation

1. 24 hours notice must be given to SLM Organisation Consultant before client can cancel a scheduled service failure to give sufficient notice will result in the charge of 50% of the agreed service fee for the due clean to be made to the client.

2. Cancellation fee may be wavered due to client emergency or a weather event.

Insurance

1. SLM Organisation Consultant’s staff are fully covered with public liability & employer’s liability insurance.

Supplementary Terms

1. Client agrees that he/she will not employ/ use the cleaner’s services directly or indirectly within 12 months of the clients cancellation of his/her relationship with SLM Organisation Consultant or from the first introduction of cleaner to client.

2. Client is responsible for making sure that the cleaner gain access to the client’s property on the day of cleaning. Client is also responsible for providing key to the cleaner if client will not be at home.

3. The Cleaner is not allowed to carry out any specialised cleaning, of any antique, valuable or delicate items.

4. The client must insure that the property is a safe working environment for the cleaners & must report any possible hazard to the cleaners upon arrival.

5. Cleaners are prohibited from using using a ladder or climbing in the client’s home to reach above a reasonable height.

6. Cleaners are permitted where necessary to take photos of hazards or damage in a home before commencing work.

7. Cleaners are not responsible for cleaning up animal vomit or faeces in a clients home.

8. In the event of cleaners losing client’s keys, cleaner is fully responsible for replacement cost of key only (SLM will not be responsible for changing of locks).

9. Client must promptly reimburse SLM Organisation Consultant or the cleaner for any incidental cost incurred as a result of client’s action in any way.
